Our Heart is in the Hills and Hollows of Tishomingo and Prentiss Counties
The Rural Community Development Agency (RCDA) was chartered by local civic leaders, pastors, and farmers to ensure that when our neighbors face hardship—be it a devastating tornado, food insecurity, or economic slowdown—nobody is left behind.
Our Mission
To cultivate resilient, self-sustaining rural communities across Tishomingo and Prentiss counties through immediate disaster assistance, compassionate food security, and inclusive small business incubation.
Our Vision
A thriving northeast Mississippi where rural families possess safe shelter, abundant fresh nutrition, and the economic opportunity to build generational prosperity at home.
Local Accountability
Over 94 cents of every donated dollar goes directly into community groceries, storm relief hardware, and micro-grants. We are governed by a local volunteer board of directors.
